Help! I bit my tongue and it hurts!!? - seizures in grocery stores

I), epilepsy (seizure and when I attack, I bit my tongue until it bleeds a little. But this is not the problem ... The problem is that it does hurt sooooooo bad, it's difficult to eat and speak.
So my question is anyone know how to relieve pain and heal faster cut? I know I could use ice, but I want to know if there is anything I could buy at the pharmacy or grocery store? and please do not suggest the salt, because it really does hurt bad!
